Application Process
We accept students from all over the world to study at Capital. To apply to join our community, please follow these steps:
- Go to our application page and complete either our application or the Common Application.
- Submit the required documents. We cannot review your application until we receive all required documents.
Check your application status page to see the exact requirements for you.- You must request official secondary school transcripts and/or exam results be sent directly to Capital University at transcripts@dzflgg.net. Transcripts and test scores uploaded by you will be considered unofficial.
- Refer to our Required Materials list for details.
- Refer to our English proficiency page for information about English test requirements.
- Receive your admission decision and scholarship offer. We review your application as soon as all required materials are received, so apply and submit your documents early!
- If you will be applying for the F-1 student visa, your next step will be to provide financial certification and the Affidavit of Support. You must demonstrate (through bank statements) your ability to pay for the remaining costs of your studies at Capital as part of the visa application process.
- Once we have processed your financial certification, we will issue your I-20 document so that you can begin the student visa application.

Note: Undergraduate students are required to live on-campus unless you are over the age of 22 or have a family member within 30 miles of Capital with whom you can live for your entire period of study. Learn more about housing at Capital.
Review our scholarships available to international students. You will receive your merit scholarship offer with your admittance. Capital University does not offer need-based scholarships to international students.
After you have been accepted, you will receive more instructions for demonstrating your finances for visa purposes.
